Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Preparation Course  -

A Certified Ethical Hacker is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of a target system(s). The CEH credential certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Ethical Hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective.

About the instructor: 

Instructor CEH


Mrs. Janella Baker has worked in the Cyber Security/ IT industry for over 10 years. She has earned a B.S. degree in Electronics Systems Technolgy and holds multiple IT/ Cyber & Project Management certifications.  She has instructed adult learners in the last 5 years in Cyber Security Foundations, Cyber Security Common Core, Command Line Essentials with Bash scripting, and multiple vendor specific DOD 8570.01M certifications to include CompTIA's Network+, Security+, EC-Council's CHFI and CEH, and many more. She is a Certified Instructor for adult learners through Fort Gordon's Instructor Training Course (CFD-IC).  Her students come from all walks of life and include warfighters and civilians from Fort Gordon, instructors from the local School System, and average adult learners from the Augusta region that want to learn about Cyber Security. 


Mrs. Baker believes that EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker course is the de facto standard for learning how to think like a hacker in order to be proactive in securing systems and networks. She believes that the CEH hands-on lab exercises coupled with the engaging course content is paramount to learning how to thwart hackers in modern times. 




 Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No, everyone is welcome. 

 What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free street parking after 5 pm and on weekends.  Paid parking is avaiable at parking decks behind Marriott and on 9th Street. 

What can I bring into the event?

Computers are available but feel free to bring any note taking material.
