Description

2019 California Champions of Mental Health Charity Awards Dinner

Honorees and guest speakers will soon be announced.

On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, Mental Health California™ will present an elegant evening of recognition of achievements in mental health and wellness among industry leadership in California. Award recipients will have demonstrated success in helping to resolve complex community mental health concerns through advocacy, research, public policy, outreach, clinical work, administration, or direct services. An hour-long dinner social will precede the awards ceremony. We will have guest speakers, video presentations, surprises, and excellent entertainment throughout the event.

Come and enjoy an evening filled with appreciation for the work being done in mental health, and for real stories of hope and resilience, plus great food, wine, dessert, and excellent entertainment throughout. Proceeds from the event will support our training, education, and community outreach programs. We invite you to help create a dynamic opportunity for sharing of a common cause to which we are all connected.

Guests will be thrilled by outstanding performers including Mr. Jason Brock - a personality of music, television, film, and theater as seen in homes throughout the world as a finalist on the hit television show, The X-Factor. Jason has been referred to as a “Spectacular musician and showman!” by Donna Sachet of the Bay Area Reporter, and told “Your voice is a song’s best friend.” by music industry veteran L.A. Reid, and “Magnificento! You made me a fan.” by star entertainer Britney Spears. Jason will perform with the exceptional Harley White, Jr. Orchestra, and his pianist, Dianthe “Dee” Spencer, Professor and Chair of Music in the School of Music at San Francisco State University, where she founded the jazz studies undergraduate degree program in 1990.
