Event description

Description

We are delighted to announce the preliminary line-up for the 2019 CAE Spring meeting which will be held on Friday, 1 March 2019 at PwC (7 More London Riverside, London SE1 2RT). We are very grateful to PwC for their generosity in making facilities available to us.

We expect the sessions to start at around 9am (with doors opening at 8am) and run through to 5pm, with plenty of networking breaks. As usual, there will be a visit to a local pub near the venue after the event.

As always, this promises to be a diverse and stimulating set of sessions and will qualify up to six continuing education units for the Casualty Actuarial Society. In order to register your attendance, please use the registration form. Thanks to PwC's generosity there will be NO CHARGE TO ATTEND.

We are finding it increasingly difficult to find venues and sponsors which means that we may have to charge a fee to attend in future. If you know of any organisation that can provide a venue for future meetings, or sponsorship, please let us know. Laura Hobern and Vincent Robert (Milliman): Professionalism session

Silvana Pesenti and Andreas Tsanakas (CASS Business School): Sensitivity analysis with scenario weights

Many thanks for your attention. If you have any comments, questions or find any problems with the invitation then please do not hesitate to e-mail me (kendra@porcupinehouse.com). I will organize an optional dinner the night before the event, on 28 February 2019, at your own cost. Please indicate when registering if you wish to attend.

You are welcome to share the event details with your colleagues. If, however, your colleagues want to be added to our invitation list (and receive announcements), they will need to send me an email (kendra@porcupinehouse.com) with “GDPR Compliance for the CAE” in the subject line, indicating their wish to receive emails.
