Event description

Description

Energize Our Neighborhoods is proud to host the 2nd Boise Neighborhood Interactive on February 16, 2019, highlighting the event’s theme: “Cultivating and Sustaining Neighborhood Identity and Community."

About the Event

The mission of the Boise Neighborhood Interactive is to empower and engage residents to take responsibility for creating and sustaining welcoming and livable neighborhoods.

Boise’s current rapid growth presents an opportunity for our community to build on the strength of our history, while planning for a future of connected neighborhoods and engaged residents. Today, some parts of the city have a well-established identity where neighbors share a sense of culture and community they call their own. Other parts of the city have an opportunity to begin developing those same connections. Creating and sustaining unique and desirable neighborhoods is important to all Boise’s residents.

Who's Invited

Targeting residents at all levels of engagement (from the veterans of the City’s 34 registered Neighborhood Association boards, to those waiting to be engaged), this community conference aims to build capacity at a neighborhood level and provide information, training, and resources to help people be involved in their community.

Ticket Pricing

The ticket prices include admission to the full day event, a continental breakfast, full lunch, afternoon snacks, and beverages throughout the day.

Early bird tickets ($5.00) will be available starting in December, through January 16, 2019. If there are remaining tickets after January 16, the price will rise to $10.00 for general admission ($5.00 rate will continue for students, seniors over 65 and members of the military and veterans).

Scholarships are available, please email Energize@cityofboise.org for details.
