Description
Join us OPENING NIGHT of the 4th Annual Providence Art & Design Film Festival.
We will be screening WALKING ON WATER, an intimate portrait of renowned installation artist Christo and the intense planning and construction of his 2016 art piece, The Floating Piers, a dahlia-yellow walkway atop Italy’s Lake Iseo tred by over 1.2 million people.

Opening reception 6pm, screening 7pm, followed by a panel discussion on the complexities of public art.
The reception 6-7pm will feature Rocket Fine Street Food in front of the theatre, courtesy oyster rawbar with Ocean State Oyster Festival featuring Salt Pond Oysters, tasting samples from The Granny Squibb Company, and next door World's Fair Gallery hosting an artist reception.

The Columbus Theatre is located at 270 Broadway in Providence, Rhode Island.
ARE THE FESTIVAL SCREENINGS ALL AGES?
All showings are all ages.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Tickets bought at the door will be available both cash and charge. The bar is CASH ONLY and is 21+ with ID to drink (of course).
WHERE DO I PARK?
There's no public parking lot at the theatre – most people are able to find an on-street parking spot within a few blocks of the building.
