MAJOR JERI-LYNN HARPER                             ­

Maj Harper is the Group Deputy Chief Standardization and Evaluation, 3rd Operations Group Commander, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The Standardization and Evaluation office coordinates with the Air Force and Air National Guard for functions of the F-22, E-3, C-17, and C-12 in 22 different aircrew postions. The office also manages and establishes local flying procdueres in coordinaton with the commander, U.S. Pacific Command, Federal Avaition Admistration, and United States Army. Maj Harper is an E-3 Pilot for the 962nd Airborne Air Control Squadron trained and equipped in tactical air dominance forces, command and control platforms for contingency operations and also provides the commander, U.S. Northern Command, immediate early airborne detection, warning, and surveillance within the Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command Region.

 

Maj Harper entered the Air Force in 2006 as a graduate from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Norwich University. She has served in a variety of positions as an Aircraft Commander on the E-3, including Instructor and Evaluator Pilot. Maj Harper has flown many sorties supporting Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR, Operation ODYSSEY DAWN, POTUS, Counter Drug Operations, and Earthquake Relief during UNIFIED RESPONSE as a Pilot. On the Air Force Central Commander’s staff she directly supported Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and Operation RESOLUTE SUPPORT. She was the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Open House and Air Show Director in 2018 leading a team of over 800 personnel and hosting over 325,000 guests. Maj Harper was the Air Force Central Commander’s trip planner coordinating with 17 US and host embassies for foreign air coalition meetings, managing his schedule, airlift, lodging, security, base visits, conferences and international travel. She also planned visits for the Secretary of the Air Force, Chief of Staff of the Air Force and ACC Commander in the Middle East to include foreign Ministry of Defense Leaders meetings.
