The dynamic 2 day ANC-WR biennial Grassroots Conference is the fifth in a groundbreaking series of informative and inspirational lectures which brings together artists, academics, legal experts, and political officials with hundreds of activists from all over the world to explore issues related to the Armenian Cause and to develop and promote new avenues of leadership and civic engagement.

The media is an indispensable platform to advance, promote human stories, and human connection. Often, minority, ethnic stories, and media are not in the general public’s purview. Despite the hurdles in media representation, these Armenian American Women have honed their roles as leading women in media. Ruminating on its four central axes: media freedom, media pluralism, media independence, and media safety.

The panel will examine diverse storytelling, content creation, curation, and the challenges of minority representation in the media landscape today. Each panelist carries its unique experiences, knowledge, and ingenuity. Educating and deliberating amongst conference attendees about the flux of modern age media in the United States of America and abroad.

Activism in the United States and in the diaspora is a critical element to its survival. The panel will discuss the various threats and issues to Artsakh and what the grassroots can do to organize and advocate on its behalf.

This panel will discuss the needs, challenges, and opportunities for homeland diaspora relations in the burgeoning era of Armenia.
