Description

Attention all ACS data users!

Registration is now open for the 2019 American Community Survey (ACS) Data Users Conference, to be held on May 14-15, 2019 at the American University (AU) Washington College of Law Yuma Building located at 4100 Yuma Street NW in Washington, DC (a five-minute walk from the Tenleytown-AU Metro station). Space at the Conference is limited and registration is on a first come/first served basis. There is no registration fee for the Conference, but participants are responsible for covering their own expenses, including travel, hotel, and meals. The deadline for registration is Friday, May 3rd.

The Population Reference Bureau (PRB) is organizing the conference in partnership with the U.S. Census Bureau and with guidance from an ACS Data Users Group Steering Committee. We have put together an exciting program that brings together more than 55 contributed presentations by ACS data users, invited sessions with Census Bureau staff, a new lightning session, and opportunities for networking. The Conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14 with presentations by several Census Bureau senior executives, including Steven Dillingham, Director of the Census Bureau. The conference will end at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15.

We have blocked a limited number of rooms at the nearby Courtyard Bethesda Chevy Chase at a special conference rate of $159. The last day to book a room with this special rate is April 12, 2019. Please use this link to make your online reservation.

The Courtyard Bethesda Chevy Chase is located at 5520 Wisconsin Ave, Washington DC (a four-minute walk from the Friendship Heights Metro station and one Metro stop from the Tenleytown-AU station). The Courtyard hotel offers free high-speed internet for all guests.
