Description

The 3rd World Medical Robotics Conference (WMRC) will be held in Munich, Germany from November 10th to 11th, 2018. WMRC 2018 is co-organized by the Medical Robotics Society (US), Technical University of Munich, and Shenzhen ROBO Medical Robotics Institute. The theme of WMRC 2018 is “Bench to Bedside Ecosystem: Translational Forum of Medical Roboticists “


The five major sessions include:

  • Medical & Surgical robotics

  • Medical imaging

  • Precision Surgery

  • Robotics and AI

  • Industrial translation

Around 20 experts from all over the world will join the conference and bring the most cutting-edge voice in the medical robot industry. At the same time, more than ten international medical companies like KUKA, Siemens, Zeiss, etc. will present their latest products at the conference. Experts from the scientific research, clinical, corporate and investment sectors will gather together to discuss the development of medical robots.

Conference Introduction

WMRC aims to promote academic exchange in the field of medical robotics, strengthen the connection and cooperation among scientific research institutes, enterprises and governments, and promote the research and development of medical robotics.

In 2016, Medical Robotics Society (MRS) held the first World Medical Robotics Conference (WMRC) in Shenzhen, China. It is the first global academic conference that gathers world-class experts from research, clinical and industrial field. Twenty-three keynote speakers from eight countries have attended the conference, attracting more than 300 audience. In 2017, more world-class speakers were joining us thanks to the grand influence of the first year’s conference; around 500 audience participated this academic and industrial feast.
