Event description

Description

Come spend a morning in the beautiful hills of Jacksonville and help with a "de-vine intervention" in the Jacksonville Woodlands where we will remove invasive English ivy from the forest. We will save trees from death-by-ivy and protect woodland flowers and shrubs. Plus, we'll share snacks and learn some facts as we work on this protected property.

Register to receive any updates and an email reminder.

Meet at the parking lot on Jackson Creek just west of Jacksonville at 9:00am; snacks and gloves will be supplied. You can come for the whole time or for an hour. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and closed-toed shoes, preferably waterproof boots, and bring water.

Directions: In downtown Jacksonville from the intersection of Oregon and California streets head west on HWY 238 about 0.8 miles past Pair-A-Dice Road to the Jackson Creek parking lot on the left. The parking lot is opposite Reservoir Road.

Contact Teresa Fernandez if you have any questions or need help registering at 541.482.3069 ext 107 or teresa@landconserve.org.
