For New Counselors: UH Mānoa Admissions 101

This session will help you understand the basics of UH Mānoa’s admissions process. Information related to admission requirements, the application process, & important deadlines will be covered. Other topics will include how to complete the Self-Reported Application & what to expect for the next application cycle.

The University of Hawaii at Manoa has partnered with EAB to create a new application for the upcoming Fall 2019 campaign. Learn more about how EAB will assist in the university's recruitment.

Hear from a number of our students on academics, student life, and the unique college experience that UH Manoa provides as a beneficial option. Students will highlight opportunities they have been provided while on campus and share insight on why UHM was a great investment for their college experience.

The invitation is open to Hawaii High Schools to participate in the Manoa Academy. Hawaii juniors and seniors benefit from early admissions to UHM and dual credit courses in high school, online, or at the Manoa campus. Graduating senior may travel to Beijing! Learn how you can be a part of this opportunity.

Go Mainland or Stay Home?... Do Both With National Student Exchange!

Many high school students grapple with the decision to attend a mainland college or stay home & attend UH Mānoa. With the National Student Exchange (NSE) Program, students are able to do both at an affordable cost (paying either UH Mānoa tuition or host campus RESIDENT tuition on exchange). Through NSE, students may exchange for 1-2 semesters at one of the 160+ member campuses in the U.S., Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, & the Virgin Islands. Join us & learn how students may experience academic, career, & life-changing opportunities through NSE, while attending UH Mānoa!

Internships, Networking, & Outcomes at UH Mānoa

Sessions I, II, & III 

Learn how academic departments at UH Manoa provide unique opportunities for their students to engage in valuable internships & to build networks through clubs, career fairs, & special events. Learn how these experiences contribute to the success of students & how they translate into finding employment &/or pursuing graduate school post-graduation. The presenters will also share the value of local networking & its advantages for students who want to live and work in Hawai'i.
