Designed for physicians, nurses, pre-hospital personnel, and other healthcare providers to take evidence-based research in the treatment and management of seriously injured patients to practice application.

Educational Objectives:

  • Examine the management of mass casualty incidents from prehospital to recovery. 
  • Evaluate the impact of interpersonal violence on patients, families, healthcare providers, and our communities.
  • Employ evidence based best practice in the management of diverse trauma related issues.
  • Reflect on the experiences of a trauma survivor in order to empathize with a patient’s need for emotional support throughout the recovery process.
