Description
A gala Sparkling Summer Soirée to benefit the Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness, Copake Falls, will be held on July 14 at 5:30 PM on the grounds of this beautiful historic church. July 14 is Bastille Day, the French national day, and our evening will have a festive French theme. Proceeds from the Soirée, our fourth, will support operating expenses and community outreach at St. John.
Parish member Jim Wann and friends will start the Soirée with a concert. Jim is the chief composer and leading man for Broadway's Pump Boys and Dinettes. He's a music and theatre artist whose work has been performed across America and around the world.
The celebration continues under the tent with fine wines and delicious bites of summer bounty. The silent auction will feature unique items and special services from generous local businesses.
