Learn why the roles of steward (or whatever your chapter calls them) and membership officer are so important to the future of your union chapter!

Learn how to serve in this important role with confidence!

Learn how serving in this role can be enjoyable and even fun!

This workshop will teach you hands-on practical skills that you can take back with you and start using next week in your chapter!

Physical address for each training location is shown in the registration process and/or will be communicated several days in advance of each training via email to those registered.

Lunch will be provided.

After registering, you will recieve a confirmation email with some important things to do now or things to obtain before your training. You will also recieve a Know-Before-You-Go email a few days before the event confirming the location, miscellaneous items to bring, and any other details you will need prior to the training.

Travel release time, lodging and mileage reimbursement:

If you need to miss work to travel to a regional training, you may be eligible for paid release time. Check with your field rep regarding applying for a training grant.

Accommodations are available the evening before at no cost for members driving more than 100 miles one-way to the nearest location of the training. Please contact your area Regional Office Coordinator to request a room.

Mileage over 50 miles is eligible to be reimbursed. Consult with your chapter treasurer for assistance on obtaining a mileage reimbursement form and how to submit it.
