Description

The MarketReady Training Program is a professional marketing education workshop for small to medium scale produce farmers, cottage food producers, value-added processors, and other interested parties. The training is based on best business practices identified by buyers in diverse markets, such as restaurants, grocers/wholesalers/retailers, and schools/institutions. Improve your business skills and increase sales by learning more about the latest local food trends, programs, and opportunities as well as key business functions and the specific needs for each respective market. Network with potential buyers from various backgrounds from your area during the Buyers' Panel. The training includes a working lunch, please contact Alessandro Holzapfel via (225) 578-2701 if you have any dietary restrictions.
