Event description

Only reserve a ticket for one open house. Admission is limited to one open house session. Oct. 2nd Open House is SOLD OUT.Please select one of the Sept. 29th Open House sessions.

Doors open 15 minutes prior to event start time and open house starts promptly at scheduled time. This is an informational session only. Families will not be given a tour of the school.

This is an open house for parents/guardians with a current 8th grade Child. Due to demand, we ask that only one adult accompanies your child (no siblings please). Children do not have to attend and attendance at an open house is not a requirement for admission. A visit does not give you any advantage in the admissions process.

This is an opportunity to attend an open house with your 8th grader. We are a 6-12 school with 9th, 10th, 11th and our first year with 12th graders in our Upper Grades Program.

Our academic program is built around the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, for which we became accredited in December 2017. Students complete the Regents required for their NYS high school diploma in 9th and 10th grades. This allows students to participate in the IB Diploma Programme in 11th and 12th grades. The IB Diploma Programme is an academically and developmentally challenging curriculum and it is used around the world. For more information, see

We may be a good fit for your child if you are looking for:

  • A liberal arts education that supports students who are interested in pursuing university programs in the arts, humanities, sciences, and math.

  • Student-driven clubs and sports including volleyball, cross country, soccer, basketball, Model UN, The Clinton Post, Chess, The Soup (literary magazine), SETA, GSA, and Student Council.

  • A newly constructed building in an easily accessible location.

We may not be a good fit for your child if you are looking for:

  • Advanced Placement (AP) courses or Advanced Regents Diplomas.

  • If you must have a choice of languages. We offer Spanish only.

  • The flexibility and choices that a large school offers.

For admissions, priority is given to Clinton students who want to continue from middle school, then to students who reside in Manhattan, then to students who live in the rest of NYC.

You do not need to email anyone if you decide to cancel.

PLEASE NOTE: Students will meet with students, and parents will meet with parents. If you will need to leave by a certain time, please tell your child what time he/she needs to meet you in the lobby before the event.
