Description

This Engineering Mentor Night, co-sponsored by the Puget Sound Engineering Council (PSEC) and hosted by the Engineering Club of North Seattle College (NSC) will give engineering and pre-engineering students an opportunity to meet representatives from the wide spectrum of practice in the profession of engineering.

Students can:
• Meet professional engineers
• Explore opportunities in engineering
• Get advice from professionals
• Learn more about employment in engineering

The events are intended for students to speak with engineering professionals in person, and no ongoing mentoring relationship is expected. Food and refreshments will be provided. Mentors are asked to bring some physical examples of their work, or something to help focus the student’s attention and discussions. Mentors are encourged to bring engineering drawings to show, information about their company, internship info, professional society publications and events as applicable.

Mentors will be sent a parking instructions, directions, and a campus map prior to the event.

5:30 - 6:00 Arrival and check-in

6:00 - 6:30 Introductions and Refreshment

6:30 - 8:00 Six 15 minute rotations between mentor tables
