North Carolina Environmental, Energy, Health & Safety (EEHS) School is the region's only comprehensive forum providing current and relevant training for environmental, health and safety (EHS) professionals.

Now in our 17th year, the 2018 EEHS School offers:

  • 24 comprehensive and current courses in air quality, water quality, solid and hazardous waste, occupational safety and health, energy, and sustainability
  • Over 30 recognized subject matter experts from the public and private sectors
  • Presentations from regulators, attorneys, consultants, and industry representatives with hands-on experience
  • Continuing Education Credits* available

*Based on previous EEHS Schools, we expect to obtain continuing education credits from the North Carolina State Bar, NC Water Pollution Control Systems Operators Certification Commission, North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina MESH program. Other professional organizations may allow members to self-certify to attendance.


EEHS School includes a buffet luncheon both days, a reception Monday evening, and continental breakfast on Tuesday.

  • Our Guest Speaker for the Monday Luncheon is Michael S. Regan, Secretary of the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality.
  • Between classes, attendees can visit the Exhibit Hall featuring leading vendors offering a full range of EEHS products and services to to check out and compare.

During the two day school, attendees choose any combination of eight classroom courses taught in 3 concurrent sessions from the list of 24 courses offered. This unique training format allows attendees the flexibility to select a schedule tailored to their individual interests and needs.

For attendees who would like additional course work after the closing luncheon, we will be offering three courses in an OPTIONAL “After School” Session from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM on Tuesday, Aug. 7.

The standard registration fee is $340.

The following discount are available:

$30 "Early Bird" Discount for All Registrations before July 1, 2018

$40 Discount for NCMA Members

$50 Discount for Government Employee or EEHS Exhibitor Attendees

Registrations after July 24, 2017 are subject to a $60 late fee.
