Description

This workshop will help prepare you to take the NCIDQ examination. This course is updated for instruction on the newest version of the exam, PRAC 2.0.

The class size is limited to 25 attendees, with a minimum of 8 required to hold the workshop. Registration will close at noon CST on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Spring 2018 NCIDQ is set to run the full month of April for all three portions of the exam. This workshop will allow for 8 weeks of prep prior to taking the exam.

Important:

  • A laptop is required for use at the workshop. Tablets are okay, but you will be viewing plans, so the large the better!
  • The cost of all material needed for the workshop is included in your course fee and will be provided to you at the workshop.
  • No refunds will be provided once payment has been processed.

Schedule:

Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The full day will be dedicated to PRAC 2.0

Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

About our distinguished instructor:

Donna Kirby, FASID

Donna Kirby’s seminars have been enthusiastically received throughout the United States. She is a practicing interior designer with over thirty years of experience in the commercial and residential design field. Donna is a past ASID Chapter President and a Past ASID National Board Member. Over the years she has received numerous honors and awards including being named a Fellow for ASID. Besides her undergraduate degree in design, she has a master’s degree in Interior Design emphasizing accessible design.

Donna began her speaking and educational career as a leadership trainer and strategic planning facilitator with ASID’s national training program in the early nineties. She has been an ASID Distinguished Speaker since its inception. She recently served as a STEP trainer for ASID, preparing interior designers to take the NCIDQ exam and now continues with QPrep. For seventeen years Donna also worked as an adjunct instructor in the Interior Design Department at Seminole State College, specializing in building code, accessibility and space planning education. Donna currently sits on the interior design advisory board for Florida State University.

She formed Education in Design ten years ago to provide continuing education for interior designers and architects and has traveled the country extensively giving lectures, seminars and workshops.

If the course is cancelled due to not meeting a minimum 8 people attending the workshop, attendees will be refunded their registration fee, less any cancellation processing fees by QPrep or Eventbrite.
