Event Details

This webinar provides an opportunity for training by the international staff of NCBI, as well as the sharing of resources and “campus best practices” among NCBI campus team leaders from around the country.

Participants will learn about common challenges and themes related to the Free Speech versus Hate Speech debate. Our hope is to use NCBI principles and practices to set goals and create action steps to address issues related to this conversation at your institution.

The 2018 NCBI Campus Conference is the first ever online training session. The objectives of this exciting new online program are:

  • To make sure that all of our campus teams stay connected to each other
  • To offer training and leadership development on a critical topic that is affecting many of our campuses
  • To increase skills in implementing NCBI workshops and practices on campus
  • To increase connection with those campuses that haven’t up until now had the resource to attend an NCBI campus conference

National Coalition Building Institute

NCBI takes a proactive approach to train individuals in Diversity & Inclusion skills in schools, colleges and universities, corporations, foundations, correctional facilities, law enforcement agencies, government offices, and labor unions.

These individuals are taught effective leadership skills in the areas of prejudice reduction, violence prevention, conflict resolution, and coalition building. NCBI programs enable leaders to take principled and courageous stands, enter the heat of emotionally-charged conflict to build bridges, and act as stalwart allies for all groups.
