Description

Planning, Preparation and Execution - The Keys to Successful CPM Projects

Preventive maintenance is the planned treatment of existing roads that protects the pavement, decreases the rate of deterioration and adds up to 10 years to the service life of the pavement.

Adopting and implementing a pavement preservation plan; project selection and planning; preparing the existing surface for treatment; knowing what to look for on the job and how to ensure projects are executed successfully: these are all crucial elements to a successful project. Careful and consistent attention to the details will result in quality projects that are completed on time and within budget.

This workshop will provide the technical information and resources local agencies need to plan, prepare and execute successful preventive maintenance projects.
