Music begins at 1:00 p.m. Ceremony starts at 2:00 p.m.

As part of its mission to preserve, commemorate, educate, celebrate and promote the past, present and future of Blues music in Minnesota, the Minnesota Blues Society, in its 16-year history, has honored, celebrated, and inducted many of Minnesota’s great Blues icons, living and passed. These inductees have dedicated 20 or more years of Blues talent into the Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame in at least one of 8 categorie

  • Performer: singer/songwriter, Dee Miller

  • Sideman: bassist, Larry Wiegand

  • Legend: Blues front man/vocalist/harmonica player, ‘Doghouse’ Jon Lackey

  • Arts, Literature, Media: Karl Bremer is receiving recognition

  • Recording: The Butanes Soul Revue One Night takes honors

  • Song: Scottie Miller is being awarded for his composition, “Sweet Cream Sugar Delight”

  • Supportive of the Blues: Mike ‘Tiny’ Rogers will receive the tribute

  • Legacy: The 2018 Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame “Legacy” tribute will be bestowed upon the family of late keyboardist, Mike ‘The Hook’ Deutsch.
