Event description

Description

As we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr., our celebration of his life and legacy will explore the theme of “The Prophetic Role of the Black Church in the 21st Century.” The 2018 MLK Jr. Celebration provides a forum for distinguished African American scholars and clergy to enrich the lives and ministries of Fuller students, alumni, and the Southern California community with the nation’s best examples of African American scholarship and preaching. This year we are delighted to welcome Rev. Dr. Estrelda Alexander as our featured guest speaker.
