This year the IGF-USA is excited to present a full day conference at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC. This year's IGF-USA will feature panels, keynotes, and plenaries discussing issues vital to the continued growth of the Internet and increasing its benefits for all.

As always the IGF-USA 2018 will be host to interactive sessions with representatives from across the Internet community and is your opportunity to engage with an array of stakeholders on issues that matter to you and Internet governance as a whole.

As we increasingly rely on the Internet, the lack of high-quality, affordable connectivity prevents many in the US from accessing the opportunities that come along with it. We'll offer examples and strategies from leaders working to ensure broadband is accessible to all to create a more just and equitable world.

Designing Smart Communities that are People-centric, Transparent and Resilient

As cities continue to grow in population, many challenges abound. The Internet of Things holds a promise for cities to deliver services that are more efficient, inclusive and sustainable. We’ll explore the frameworks, tools and technology necessary to infuse smart communities with intelligent, interconnected and integrated services.

A scenario-based discussion of the various potential "futures" where new technologies impact how people work and make a living.

This session explores three different scenarios for the future five years out that could emerge from decisions being made today about how we combat so-called fake news, who decides what constitutes fake news, and the policy, technical and economic implications.
