EveryOne Reach One: Infant Mortality Conference

Kasserian Ingera, “How are the Children?”

Join us on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for the 2nd Infant Mortality Conference presented by the EveryOne Reach One Infant Mortality Task Force. This year’s conference theme is Kasserian Ingera, “How are the Children?” derives from the Masai tribe of Africa. The conference will consist of distinguished speakers, two concurrent sessions, and a panel on “Health in All Policies."

The objective of this conference is to provide the community with information about infant mortality as well as increase and affirm collective action to implement polices to address factors that increase the prevalence of infant mortality at the systems, community/ environment and grassroots level. This conference, held at Sinclair College, is open for anyone to attend. Registration, parking, breakfast and lunch are free for attendees. Please register by September 21, 2018. No CEUs will be available at this event.

The event will be held at Sinclair College's Conference Center, Building 12. Sinclair Conference Center is located at 444 West Third Street Dayton, Ohio 45402. The underground parking garage connects to the building.

  • Take third Street exit 53 A off I-75 (northbound or southbound)

  • Turn right on Perry Street

  • Right on Fourth Street then right into the underground parking in the Sinclair Center

• TURN LEFT onto Third St.
• Go approximately 0.4 miles; TURN RIGHT onto Perry St.

• Go approximately 300 feet; TURN RIGHT into Lot C, the underground parking garage.

FROM SOUTH (Traveling North)

Take I-75 North to Exit 51 (Edwin C. Moses Blvd.)
• TURN RIGHT onto Edwin C. Moses.
• Go approximately 2.2 miles; TURN RIGHT onto Third St.
• Go approximately 0.5 miles; TURN RIGHT onto Perry St.
• Go one block; TURN RIGHT onto Fourth St.
• Go approximately 300 feet; TURN RIGHT into Lot C, the underground parking garage.

FROM SR-35 (Both East and West)

• Exit at Ohio Route 48/Main St./Jefferson St.
• TURN RIGHT onto Jefferson St.
• Go approximately 0.3 miles; TURN LEFT onto Fourth St.
