Event description

Description

ICF is proud to host the 6th annual CyberSci Symposium on December 6, 2018.

As a leader in cybersecurity research and development, ICF provides rich support to the cyber community, and is spearheading the building of cybersecurity programs to protect critical infrastructures.

Leaders from the U.S. Government, academia, and the larger cyber community will come together under one roof to discuss the questions facing cybersecurity: What are the best approaches to new trends, challenges, emerging technologies, and threats?

2018 CyberSci Symposium Theme: Adaptability and Resilience in the Cyber Threat Environment

From the incursions into the 2016 U.S. Presidential election to the phishing of French political parties in 2017/2018, cyber disruption has revealed the need for organizations to sustain operations during security breaches. Paired with trends like the growth of IoT, system resilience has become critical to both traditional information technology systems and large-scale critical infrastructures.

The focus of this year’s CyberSci is to bring together stakeholders from across government, academia and industry to share information about innovative and emerging ways to confront and mitigate the risk and ensure mission and operational integrity through this convergence of cybersecurity and resiliency strategies in a persistent attack and asymmetric threat environment.
