2018 ICC Survivorship Summit: This is My Day

This conference is jointly provided by the Indiana Cancer Consortium (ICC) and the University of Southern Indiana (USI).

At the beginning of 2016, there were approximately 329,986 cancer survivors living in Indiana. Many of these cancer survivors and caregivers will face short- and long-term physical, emotional, and psychosocial morbidities after treatment.

Cancer touches us all and often it requires personalized attention to ensure each patient, caregiver, and healthcare professional is receiving proper help. Through this year's Survivorship Summit, the ICC District 10 Regional Cancer Control Coalition has provided an evening conference with three unique tracks tailored for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Each track will have sessions dedicated to delivering up-to-date information and strategies for communication, fatigue, coping with loss, patient-provider relationships, and more.

This event is geared toward professionals, patients, and advocates involved in cancer detection, treatment, and survivorship, including but not limited to: cancer patients and survivors, caretakers, primary care doctors, medical oncologists, nurses, navigators, community health educators, public health professionals, social workers, and staff of community cancer support agencies. See below on Continuing Education.

The 2018 Survivorship Summit has been planned and coordinated by the ICC District 10 Regional Cancer Control Coalition.

Join us on Wednesday, June 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (CST)! If you are traveling from the Eastern time zone, please make note of the time change.

Registration is free, but required. A mid-program meal will be provided.

If you or a loved one requires transportation from the parking lot to the venue, please let us know by emailing Rishika@IndianaCancer.org and we will provide the proper accomodations.
