2018 Hospice Comes to Washington
Event Information
Description
2018 Hospice Comes to Washington: Transforming Care for Americans
By 2035, there will be 78 million people 65 years according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2017 National Population Projections. This means that 1 in every 5 residents will be retirement age and that healthcare systems must rapidly evolve to meet the demands of the changing population.
President and CEO Malene Davis invites you to join Capital Caring for the 11th Annual Hospice Comes to Washington reception as we reshape the dialogue on care and advance the agenda to better serve American families.
May is Older Americans Month, and Capital Caring’s 2018 Hospice Comes to Washington reception will kick-off a month-long initiative to honor this growing population and spark conversations to improve care for them and for the generations that will follow.
