Seminar Description
The 2018 Governmental Accounting and Reporting Issues Seminar (State Auditor Training Program) will include the following topics:

  • Brief Update from the Department of Audits and Accounts – Local Government Review Team

  • Common Reporting Errors - DOAA Local Government Review Team

  • Open Government - Discussion of Georgia’s Open Meetings and Open Records Acts

  • Hotel-Motel Reporting Requirements - DCA Team

  • Overhauls to the Authority Financial Reporting - DCA Team

  • Debrief on the Conversion of the RLGF to the Uniform Chart of Accounts - DCA Team

  • GASB Statements 74 and 75 (OPEB) - Crawford and Associates

  • GASB Updates Including Leases and Fiduciary Activities - Crawford and Associates

  • Measuring Financial Health and Success of Georgia Local Governments - Crawford and Associates

Registration Fee
$249 - includes 16 CPE hours, printed CPE certificate, and both breakfast and lunch each day
