Description

Global Health Week at Washington University in St. Louis is organized by the Global Health Student Advisory Committee, which is a multidisciplinary committee. The activities are designed to educate and engage the community on a broad range of health care issues.

Everyone is welcome to attend all the events. Please register by February 20, 2018. Walk-ins welcome.

Mon, Feb 26th 3-4pm, Seigle L006: “The First 1,000 days and beyond: women’s role in global nutrition and food security,” Guest lecture by Dr. Lora Iannotti, Brown School, Washington University

Tues, Feb 27th, 12-1pm, Space is Limited, DUC 240: Lunch with Jon Cohen, Staff Writer, Science.

Wed, Feb 28th 3-4pm, Seigle L006: “Gender & HIV Transmission & Treatment Disparities," guest lecture by Jon Cohen.

Wed, Feb 28th 7-9pm, Graham Chapel: Pulitzer Documentary Screenings and Discussions followed by Q&A with Jon Sawyer, Executive Director, Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting; Carl Gierstorfer, Journalist, Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting; Jon Cohen, Staff Writer, Science; Dr. Megan Baldridge, Washington University School of Medicine; and Jae Lee, Washington University School of Medicine
