LeadingAge PA is pleased to present our 2018 Fall Finance Seminar in the East! The theme for the 2018 LeadingAge PA Fall Finance Seminar is Evolve and will provide attendees with a variety of innovative ideas, information on current trends, and an opportunity to networking with colleagues. The focus of this seminar will be finance, reimbursement topics and PDPM. In an ever-changing financial landscape, evolution is essential to navigate through these changes. Continuing education credit hours for both accounting professionals and Nursing Home Administrators will be offered.

Accounting and tax update: Impacts of the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard, the new not-for-profit financial reporting standard, and tax reform on senior living service providers

  • Discover the implementation issues and challenges senior living service providers face surrounding the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard, determine where your organization is in the implementation process, and receive guidance on the specific disclosure requirements.

  • Review the provisions under FASB’s new not-for-profit financial statement reporting standard (ASU 2016-14) and learn how to improve net asset allocation.

  • Identify the new tax provisions affecting senior living organizations and receive guidance on how tax-exempt entities should evaluation how changes in the TCJA impact their organization, including updates to unrelated business income tax.
