ANNOUNCING: KATHLEEN G. NADEAU, PH.D. WILL BE THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER!
Dr. Nadeau has practiced in the Washington, DC, area for over thirty years, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD, ADD) for the majority of that time. Dr. Nadeau is an internationally recognized authority on ADHD and has served on the national professional advisory boards of both CHADD and ADDA, the two major advocacy organizations for individuals with ADHD. She is the co-founder of the National Center for Gender Issues in ADHD, a non-profit organization dedicated to public education and professional training about the needs of girls and women with ADHD.
At the 2018 CHADD DMV Regional ADHD Awareness Month Resource Fair, you will have an opportunity to meet with local professionals, school representatives, and nonprofit organization members who can provide the resources YOU need if you or a family member has been diagnosed with ADHD. Experts include specialists in the areas of mental illness and learning disabilities – conditions that often co-exist when there is an ADHD diagnosis. In addition to the Keynote Speech and the chance to visit with exhibitors, this event's program will include breakout sessions and a panel discussion.
