Be part of the winning team and help San Diego County win the 2018 City Nature Challenge!

The 2018 City Nature Challenge is a worldwide competition to see which region can make the most observations on their smart devices (through the app iNaturalist) of wild plants and animals over a 4-day period.

This meet and greet will include an overview of the 2018 City Nature Challenge, the resources we can offer partners, a sign-up for interested organizations, and a brief iNaturalist tutorial. After the meeting, feel free to stay and enjoy The Nat free of charge.

We’re excited to offer San Diego residents and visitors the opportunity to get outside and contribute to science by participating in this worldwide competition. We would love to guide visitors to local outdoor environments and are looking for partners to help. We want to get the message out and encourage maximum participation. Let’s have fun, get outside, and get competitive!

The 2018 City Nature Challenge runs Friday, April, 27 at 12 AM to Monday, April 30 at 11:59 PM
