2018 Northwell Health Behavioral Health Nursing Conference!

This conference aims to increase the fund of knowledge among nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and other mental health practitioners to examine the current state of behavioral health and identify future opportunities and trends within the specialty. Each topic discussed is relevant to the patient experience and the current practice of behavioral health by speakers who are highly qualified and specialize in areas of psychiatry like tele-health, addictions, and sexual trauma. The 2018 keynote speaker is Gail Stuart, PhD, RN, FAAN. Dr. Stuart is renowned in her field and is the Dean Emeritus of the College of Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Temperatures at the conference venue may fluctuate. For your comfort, we suggest bringing a sweater or jacket. The dress code is business casual: no jeans, sneakers, flip flops, or sweat suits.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Nurses, including advanced practice nurses and other healthcare providers, in a variety of practice settings interested in learning about the care and treatment of this population.

Refunds/Cancellations: Pleae note that cancellations can be made up until 7 days prior to the start of the program for a refund with a $25.00 administrative fee. No refunds for "no shows". Unfortunately, we are unable to honor any substitute attendees.
