Welcome to the WDA’s Annual Conference to be held in Houston, Texas. Please join us to learn about new programs and treatments and cutting edge research. More importantly, you will have the opportunity to connect with WD families from across the United States. Children with WD are welcome. We are now open for registration.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, APRIL 27:

There will be a complimentary welcome reception between 5:00 - 6:30pm for those who have already arrived at the hotel. This FREE ticket will be listed on the Eventbrite page. Please let us know if you plan on attending so we have an accurate head count for appetizers.

SATURDAY, APRIL 28:

The all day Conference begins with breakfast and ends with a dinner banquet featuring dancing to a D.J. and an ice cream bar for children. Dr. Tamir Miloh and his team at The Wilson’s Disease Center of Excellence at Texas Children’s Hospital will be our hosts. The day will consist of educational presentations, panel discussions, small round table discussions and programming for children and young adults.

ON-LINE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Registration for the conference is free for Wilsons Disease Association members. The fee for non-members is $60.00. The Conference Banquet fee is $35.00 per person for members, $65.00 for non-members. Children under the age of 18 are free. *Don't forget to check your membership benefits for Conference Banquet discounts*

If your membership is not current, and you would like to renew, you can do so on the conference registration page. If you are unable to register online or need assistance, please call Judi Keller the WDA office: 866-961-0533 ext. 3000. All registrations must be received no later than APRIL 19, 2018.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

The WDA has reserved a block of rooms at the Whitehall Hotel located in downtown Houston. The cost is $129/night plus tax. For room reservations, please call Victor Barrera at 713-739-8800. You must request the Wilson Disease Association group rate. The reservation deadline is April 6th. Reservations not received by this date will be subject to guest room and rate availability.

There is a hotel shuttle available to transport guests within the Downtown area, including the Museum District, Houston Zoo, Miller Outdoor Theatre and Herman Park.

The Whitehall Hotel is located 21 miles from George Bush International Airport and 11 miles from William P. Hobby Airport. Transportation costs range approximately from $110 for a taxi, $46 for a Super Shuttle and $70 for an Uber.
