Planning for the 2018 AIA Detroit Celebration of Architecture is well underway, and we have some exciting changes in store for this year, aimed at providing more direct value and engagement to our members and our partners! Central to our approach this year is a new layout, featuring an "Industry Lounge" in the east wing, which will be private to ticketed guests all night (5:30-10:00pm).

In the north and south wings, we'll have a series of public exhibits highlighting not only AIA Detroit's Honor Awards and other programs, but also including features from allied trade associations, nonprofits, and academic institutions across the AEC and Design industry. The aim is to CELEBRATE this evening as the industry-wide event it has truly become, and welcome the diverse range of professions with whom we collaborate on a daily basis.

Ticketed guests will receive wristbands that will allow them to pass freely between the Industry Lounge and Public Galleries all night. Each Ticket will include food concepts from four local food trucks, plus coffee, desserts, and hors d'oeuvres in the Industry Lounge, (2) drink vouchers, and a special 3/$10 pricing on additional drinks (regularly 1/$5 or 5/$20).

Sponsorship tiers have also been simplified this year to reflect the sponsorship price points we found to be most appealing to our partners: Diamond ($5000), Platinum ($2500), Gold ($1500), Silver ($500) and Bronze (Individual VIP Ticket) ($100).
