Event description

Description

This year's conference will focus on the unique power of language to compel us, to embolden us, and to influence us. We'll explore language as a tool for activism, as a mechanism for empowerment, and as a pathway into real-world issues. There will be hands-on learning opportunities and plenty of info to take back to your classroom.

All English/LA teachers are welcome, but the emphasis typically leans towards middle and high school classes. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to share what you're learning and mingle with classroom veterans, and this is a great venue for professors to share new research and best practices. Administrators, other Humanities teachers, and Library Media Specialists may be interested, as well!
