2018-2019 Synapse School Math Circle #2
Event Information
Description
Synapse Math Circles provide an opportunity for students to experience the thrill of mathematical discovery, through problem-solving and interactive explorations. Sessions will be led by experienced Mathematicians and Math Educators. Math circle leaders strive to create experiences that are low-threshold, high-ceiling, offering many points of entry and making the content accessible with minimal mathematical background, but often lead to deep mathematical concepts and can be connected to advanced mathematics.
The Synapse Math Circle features sessions for PK-8th grade students. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children in the Math Circles, and are expected to supervise their own children. This is not a drop-off event. Along with the Synapse School community, this Math Circle is open to the public.
