Secure your seats to Duke City Repertory Theatre's 8th Season!

In 2017/18, we are continuing to shake things up. In the spirit of constantly expanding our work and your experience, we have an exciting format for the coming season. Join us as we bring a tragicomedy, a riot of a holiday cabaret, an adapted, beloved literary work and last but not least, doing Shakespeare as it was originally intended- to a lively and participative crowd in a public setting- with only ONE rehearsal.

Gruesome Playground Injuries

From the moment they meet, Kayleen and Doug crash, split and cut into each others lives. In turns deeply moving and unexpectedly hilarious, Gruesome Playground Injuries follows these scar cross’d lovers through 30 years of friendship, grotesque injuries and every day calamities to examine how the injuries we experience in our souls can leave their marks on our skin.

Recommended ages 16+ due to content and language

Ugly Sweater Revue

The Ugly Sweater Revue is BACK! Join us for that little bit of nice and that whole lot of naughty that was the highlight of last year’s holiday season. This fun-filled and adults-only variety show promises the jolliest and bawdiest acts that local Albuquerque performers have to offer. It is the perfect spike in your December eggnog.

The Call of the Wild

Based on London’s classic tale, a dog named Buck is kidnapped from his California home and sold into captivity in Alaska. In order to survive the brutal frontier, Buck must leave behind his civilized ways and rely on his natural instinct. Will Buck continue to serve his beloved master Thornton or will he leave Man’s world behind and answer the call of the wild?

BardCrawl / Love's Labour's Lost*

Written by William Shakespeare, Adapted by Martin Andrews

Serious actors. No director. One rehearsal. In a bar.

Inspired by Chicago’s Back Room Shakespeare and buoyed by last year’s success, Duke City Rep invites you to enjoy Shakespeare as it was done in Shakespeare’s day. The BardCrawl actors will gather in a different Albuquerque brewery each week for a brave and bold performance of Shakespeare’s comedy, “Love’s Labour’s Lost.” Smartphones, appetites and cat calls all welcome.

Recommended ages vary do to venue restrictions (each performance will list specifics)

Subscription packages include the first three shows of the season only. All packages have the flexiblity of passes- attend each show once, come to a show with a friend, or use as a gift. It's totally up to you! Admission prices in general are deeply discounted this year, so by becoming a subscriber for the eighth season, you are showing your support in prepurchasing your tickets, and depending on the package, maybe a little donation too! We will show our gratitude with reserving the best seats in the house, hassle free reservation changes and you'll be the first to hear about DCRT special events. Gold and Silver levels also come with the benefit of invitations to special events exclusively for you!

Once we send out subscriber email invitations to make reservations for upcoming show, simply contact us by phone at 505-797-7081 or email us at a minimum of one week before Opening Night to let us know which performance you (or a guest) will be attending.

Subscriptions are non-refundable.
