Description

The NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE) is committed to creating inclusive preschool classrooms that enable all children to enter kindergarten with a solid foundation for future success. To support this work, a professional learning series will be offered to preschool programs during school year 2017-2018. The goal of the series is to provide participants with information and resources on preschool special education and to build the capacity of programs to support children and families.

Participants are not required to attend all session and can register for topics of their choice. Remaining topic will include: “Second Language Acquisition”. Registration for Second Language Acquisition will open in April. For information regarding dates and locations for future sessions, please contact the NYCDOE Preschool Special Education Team:
