2017 Women Coaches Symposium
The 2017 Women Coaches Symposium is a day-long symposium for women sport coaches at all levels of competition. The 4th annual symposium will be held on the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus in the TCF Bank Stadium DQ Room, courtesy of Gopher Athletics.
The symposium is open to current or aspiring women coaches of any sport at any level. The purpose of the Women Coaches Symposium is to provide high quality and unique educational programming, professional development, an avenue for networking for women, space to build community among women coaches, and to recruit and retain women in the coaching profession.
You won't want to miss this exciting and worthwhile event. Speakers include keynote by Jill Ellis (USWNT Head Coach), Dr. Nicole M. LaVoi (Tucker Center Co-Director), Dr. Cindra Kamphoff (Sport Psychology Consultant, CC-AASP), Jenny Evans (Performance & Health Coach), Dr. Carly Anderson (LP, CC-AASP) and Megan Kahn (Executive Director, Alliance of Women Coaches). This event is co-hosted by the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, the Alliance of Women Coaches, and Gopher Athletics. Register early as last year's event SOLD OUT.
