The 2017 Winter WOD-chester Games will be a four-person (two male, two female) team event where teams will be classified according to their "collective" age.
Juniors: <135 years / Seniors: 135-180 years / Masters: >180 years
The event will consist of the three workouts that will be written such that an intermediate crossfitter (men/women can OHS 95/65 pounds, respectively...or 75/55 for Masters) will be able to perform all three "as prescribed" - yet structured in manner that will allow stronger athletes to differentiate themselves. Likewise, scaling will be an option for those that need it.
In addition to performing each of the three workouts, teams will also be required to judge each of the three workouts. The workouts descriptions along with a detailed schedule of heat assignments for both competitors and judges will be released on Wednesday, January 25th.
While we will keep the actual workouts a secret until the 25th, we will release some “event prep” workouts on the preceding Fridays – January 6th, 13th and 20th. These workouts will be similar to the event workouts in design and length, but will feature different movements.
