Starting February 22nd, the Asian American Arts Alliance will be accepting applications for the 2017 Van Lier Fellowships in Music Performance and Music Composition.
Join us for an information session on the nuts and bolts of the Van Lier application and fellowship year. The session will be led by the Alliance staff. The 2016 Van Lier Fellows in Theater will also be on-site to answer questions about the fellowship experience. The last fifteen minutes of the info session will be a Q&A portion for attendees.
This 1 hour session will include the background and logistics of the fellowship process as well as pointers on preparing a strong application.
Space is limited so we do encourage early RSVPs.
About the Alliance's 2017 Van Lier Fellowships for Music Performance and Music Composition:
The Van Lier Fellowships for Music Performance and Music Composition are eight-month long fellowships meant to help early-career, financially limited musicians and composers of Asian descent living in New York City. The program provides fellows with artistic support and mentorship in order to further develop their talent and strengthen their connection to the professional music community in NYC.
