2017 Valley Spring Evening Training Sessions
Tue, Mar 21, 2017, 6:00 PM – Tue, Apr 11, 2017, 8:00 PM CDT
There are 4 skills sessions starting the week of March 21st
2nd-4th grade: 6PM - 7PM
5th-7th grade: 7PM - 8PM
WHAT: The majority of these sessions will be focused on teaching and reteaching the skills needed to enjoy the sport of volleyball. Expert club and Valley volleyball coaches will instruct and guide players in their learning.
HOW: If needed, players will be divided up on two courts (basic & advanced) to work on skills appropriate for developing the fundamentals needed for success at the higher levels. One lead coach will run each court of instruction. The pace and difficulty of the drills will be based on the players on the court. We will do everything possible to put players on the appropriate court. Lots of game play, fun, and learning will take up the majority of each session.
WHY: To introduce and reinforce the skills of volleyball for participants just starting to learn volleyball fundamentals. To provide a fun learning atmosphere where players can enjoy developing their volleyball and teamwork skills.
