Meeting Site (DNR Auditorium)
The DNR Building is open 8:00a - 5:00p Monday to Friday, including the Natural Resources Map & Bookstore (http://mapstore.utah.gov/) in the Main Lobby. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign in with the security desk at the main entrance. Signs will be posted directing you from the Main Lobby to the Auditorium on the 1st floor.
Transportation and Parking
Visitor parking is available in front (south side) of the DNR Building for those driving to the meeting. The building is immediately east of the intersection of Redwood Road and West North Temple. Exit Interstate 80 at Redwood Road (SR 68) and travel north to West North Temple. Just north of the Redwood Road/West North Temple intersection, turn right at the next driveway past the KFC/A&W and follow the parking lot around the west end of the three story brick portion of the DNR Building to the south visitor parking lot. The main entrance is adjacent to the south parking lot.
The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) TRAX Light Rail Green Line Power Station (1500 West) is one block to the east of the DNR Building. The Green Line runs from the Salt Lake International Airport, east to downtown Salt Lake City, and then southwest to West Valley City. TRAX trains run every 15 minutes weekdays, and 20 minutes weekends from downtown to the airport, University of Utah to the east, Draper City to the south, and West Valley City and Daybreak to the southwest, including transfer to UTA FrontRunner commuter rail service to Ogden and Provo.
A laptop with Microsoft Office 2012 and a digital projector will be available during the working group meeting. Due to the busy meeting schedule, please plan on bringing your PowerPoint presentation on a USB drive, CD, or DVD, and give it to the UGS Coordinator before the meeting starts. The UGS Coordinator will load the presentations and have them ready for the meeting. Presenters need to use the provided laptop to minimize schedule interruptions from changing equipment and to save the presentations for archival purposes. We will be posting presentations from the working group on our website. Please inform Steve Bowman (email@example.com) if you would prefer to omit your presentation from our website.
