Description
Do you love Rummikub as much as we do? We are thrilled to host a qualifying event for the U.S. Rummikub National Championship Tournament at #ChiTAG Fair on Sunday, November 19th at Navy Pier! There are limited seats available for this National tournament - and we will sell out! The tournament is sponsored by Goliath Games.
The winner of the U.S. National Championship Tournament in Chicago will win 2 round trip air tickets and hotel accommodations at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Jerusalem, to compete in the 2018 World Championship which will take place November 9-12, 2018.
First prize of the 2018 World Rummikub Championship Tournament in Jerusalem wins $6,607.
Entry for the U.S. National Championship Tournament is $25. All entrants receive admission to Chicago Toy & Game Fair and a Rummikub in Retro Tin game (combined package value $45.00). Additional tickets may be granted for friends and family members on an as-available basis.

Age Limit
There is a minimum age of 18 to compete in this tournament.
Tournament Support:
Goliath Games will provide 6 Rummikub sets to qualifier locations, sufficient to play 6 simultaneous games (4 people per game, 24 total) if needed.
Prize Redemption:
The winner of the U.S. Rummikub National Championship Tournament is expected to participate in the 2018 Rummikub World Championship. If the winner is unable to fulfill this obligation for any reason, the prize will pass in full to the first runner-up, and so on, until a representative from the USA is able to attend the World Championships in Jerusalem.

We're the Chicago Toy & Game Group and you can call us “ChiTAG” – pronounced SHY-Tag – for short. Play in Education (PIE) Conference - (Since 2006) Studies show a focus on play means better performance in academics and social competence. This conference discusses strategies for bringing play into the classroom and provides CE credits.

Toy & Game Innovation Awards (TAGIEs) (since 2008). The TAGIEs are an elegant and playful evening gala that brings together industry leaders from inventors to manufacturers to retailers as well as the public for a celebratory evening of innovators and inventors from around the world for their exceptionally innovative spirit of fun, philanthropy, and humanitarianism.

Young Inventor Challenge (YIC) (since 2006). The YIC provides an opportunity for children ages 6 to 18 to showcase their original toy and game inventions to industry professionals, members of media and the general public. All entrants receive feedback from industry executives and inventors and the opportunity to win scholarships and licensing agreements with toy and game companies.

Media Influencer Event (since 2009) Hundreds of traditional media and social media influencers bring their families for a day of fun at the Fair.

PlayCHIC (since 2012) Fashion sells. The PlayCHIC Fashion Show celebrates dress-up by inspiring play through a new avenue - fashion.
