UH Mānoa Campus Tour (Max. 30 people)

Begins in Session II only - Runs through Sessions II & III

Learn more about the University of Hawaii at Mānoa campus by taking a one-hour walking campus tour. The tour will showcase main academic points on campus, and visits to a small classroom, lecture hall, libraries, and labs. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are encouraged for the tour.

Engineering is the new cool. What is Engineering you say? At this session, the University of Hawaii at Mānoa’s College of Engineering students will engage participants in a presentation involving hands on Engineering opportunities and relay information on pathways in Engineering studies and career development. They will also share their personal experiences in undergraduate research, leadership and student development opportunities, as well as their reasons for making the University of Hawaii at Mānoa College of Engineering their school of choice.

STAR GPS: New Registration App that Guides Students to Timely Graduation

STAR GPS is a nationally recognized registration app designed to help students stay on track to graduation, and ultimately, to save time and money. This innovative tool is one of the initiatives credited with a recent 80% increase in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s four-year graduate rate over a 6-year period. Learn about the various features of STAR GPS and how it guides students to timely graduation.

Athletics - NCAA Initial Eligibility vs Admissibility

This session will help high school personnel understand the current NCAA Initial Eligibility requirements, which took effect on August 1, 2016. We will also go over the difference between admissibility and eligibility since NCAA standards are not always the same as an institution’s admissions standards.
