The Take A Step 5K is a community awareness and fundraising event that benefits domestic and sexual abuse victim services provided through CAP Services’ Family Crisis Center. CAP Services, Inc. has been providing services to domestic abuse and sexual assault victims in central Wisconsin since establishing the Family Crisis Center in 1978. Services are provided by a team of professional staff. All services are free and confidential. The Family Crisis Center focuses on these areas: Domestic Abuse, Sexual Assault and Youth Services. In 2016, the Family Crisis Center helped more than 850 individuals "take a step" twoard a brighter future. For more information on available services, call 1-800-472-3377 or 715-343-7125. Join us at Pfiffner Park for the 15th Annual Run/Walk. Donations are welcome. The price of each ticket, less $15, may be tax deductible as a charitable donation as allowed by law. NOTE: The Advocate Rate will count as two tickets.
What is this Advocate Rate?
We're so glad you asked! By selecting the Advocate Rate registration fee, you cover your own registration costs and give a CAP Services' program participant who would be unable to cover the fees the opportunity to join in the fun. You only need to complete your own registration information.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You can bring yourself and everyone you know! The event is alcohol and tobacco free. No bikes, skates/skateboards, or pets. Service animals are of course welcome.
