The Summer Rhythm Renewal is an invigorating, four-day experience of beginner friendly music & expressive arts workshops with a strong focus on personal development, community creation and self-care.
The Renewal is for anyone looking for a profoundly joyful and deeply immersive experience where you can:

At the Summer Rhythm Renewal we encourage you to take impeccable care of yourself. Here you can take a relaxing walk among century old pine trees, connect and spend time with friends old and new, laugh more than you have in decades, eat well, or even just take a nap... whenever you want. At the Renewal you can expect gifted, down-to-earth instructors, great food, simple & clean lodging, and a comfortable, accepting atmosphere where you can just be yourself. All on the pristine mountain campus of Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Registered participants who cannot attend, may send a substitute with prior notification, or may transfer their deposit to a future event within a 12-month period, if requested in writing 30 days before the event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have you on our registration list
What is the refund policy?
A refund will be given for cancellations requested 60 days prior to the event, less $100.
Refunds cannot be given after this date or for no-shows on the day of the event.
Q: I have never played music or drums before, will I be able to do this?
A: Absolutely! Beginners are warmly welcome. Each instructor that we bring to the Rhythm Renewal to teach has the gift of being able to teach to multiple skill levels all at one time.
Q: Do I need my own drum?
A: You can bring your drum or feel free to borrow one of our many drums.
Q: Do I have to perform in front of other people?
A: Absolutely not. Although these opportunities will be provided, performing is not required. Everyone need only do what they feel comfortable doing. Enjoy
Q; I am under 18. Can I still sign up?
A: Sorry, you'll need to wait till you get a bit older or register with a parent or legal guardian (ages 16 & up)
Q: Is the food ok? What about the water?
A: Food is actually quite good. And we take breaks for three meals a day. If you don't like treated water, you may want to bring bottled water. Lodging plans include meals. This includes lunch and dinner on Thursday, Continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday and Continental breakfast and lunch on Sunday. (Our food is quite good and fresh.) The housing is simple, but clean and safe. Linens and towels are provided. There are a limited amount of dorm spaces, and they are sold on a first come first serve basis.
Q:Where can I get supplies if needed?
A: Town (Ebensburg, PA) with major stores (i.e. Walmart etc) is about 15 minutes drive away. There is also a small grocery store in Loretto called Smithmeyers.

Lodging and meal plans are purchased onsite upon arrival. You may pay for our optional meal & lodging plan when you arrive using cash, check or via credit card. One of our team leaders with help you get registered upon arrival at our dorm called "Christian Hall" on the campus of Saint Francis University.
After purchasing your registration for the Renewal, we will contact you to find out if you will be needing and room and meal plan and reserve it for you. Payment for these plans will be collected onsite upon your arrival.

These prices include:
Lodging on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Meals are $10, and are provided at Torvian Hall buffet style.
Meals at Saint Francis University are quite good and fresh. There is a large well maintained salad bar as well as hot items at each meal with the exception of continental breakfasts. There will also be vegetarian entree options available.
Though our cafeteria has a wide range of food options, those with extreme food allergies or dietary restrictions may want to pack their own meals. There is room in our walk in cooler to store items that need refrigeration.
There are no refrigerators in the rooms. There is a microwave in the common area of Christian Hall.
Rooms are simple, but clean and safe. Linens and towels are provided.

Day passes are available for $99 per day. Housing is reserved for full weekend participants not available for day pass participants.
