The 2017 Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens, produced by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine, will bring together designers from Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Virginia. With Honorary Chair Jackye Lanham at the helm, the home will feature the talents and creativity of 25 designers from the southeast.
Reimagined spaces and a seamless bridge between past and present are part of the vision for the 2017 Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens. A classic 1960s estate in Buckhead’s Kingswood neighborhood will be transformed into a livable treasure for the current homeowners.
The recent renovation of the James Means-designed home brings together architect Yong Pak of Pak Heydt, builder Michael Ladisic of Ladisic Fine Homes, landscape architect Richard Anderson and kitchen designer Matthew Quinn. Their work will lay the foundation to showcase the Southeast’s leading interior designers from April 20-May 14. “We’re preserving what makes it historical and classical, integrating the new wings to be sympathetic with the classic architecture, so it feels seamless,” Pak says.
This year's beneficiary is Atlanta History Center.
